Recommended Use:
-Weight limit: Birth-9 lbs. under 21" long
-The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that premature infants born at less than 37 weeks gestation be monitored for possible apnea, bradycardia or oxygen desaturation before leaving the hospital.
-An infant with documented desaturation, apnea or bradycardia in a semiupright position should travel in a supine or prone position.
-The AAP also recommends that families minimize travel with these infants.
Care and Maintenance:
-Machine-washable padding
-Harness straps can be surface washed with mild soap and water. Do not immerse.
-Buckle and belt adjuster hardware can be rinsed under warm running water. Do not put soap, cleaning solutions or lubricants inside of buckle or adjuster hardware.
-Shell can be surface washed with mild soap and water.
