The anatomy of the Nursing Nest:

The “Breast Shelf” supports mommy’s breast, creating direct nipple-to-mouth alignment.

With conventional nursing pillows, switching breasts requires lifting the baby from his/her feeding position and laying baby on his/her opposite side to feed from the other breast.
